Tournament Overview
This was the start of it all. SYC Rhode Island at East Providence Lanes was Arryn's first-ever Storm Youth Championships event, a 36-deep U15 Boys field across three distinct Kegel sport patterns over two days.
He finished 22nd of 36 at a 185.2 average, 2,778 pins over fifteen games. The number that stood out even in a debut was the consistency: three very different shots, three blocks clustered tightly together, the foundation a young bowler builds everything else on.

How the Standings Moved
He opened 180, 190 and 205 to reach 13th after three games, his best standing of the weekend. A 152 in game four dropped him to 21st, and he finished the Short block 19th.
The Medium block was his best, 971 pins. A 240 to open it lifted him from 19th to 14th, and he held 15th through game nine before finishing the block 17th.
Sunday's Long block was the division's highest-scoring round, a 196.6 average, and his 871 was 27th of 35 in it. He finished 22nd of 36.

Why This Result Matters
On its own, a 22nd-place debut is a modest line on a results sheet. In context, it is the first data point of a long climb. This is where Arryn's SYC story started: unfamiliar sport patterns, a 36-deep field, and a first look at what the level demands.
A little more than a year later, the same circuit saw him finish runner-up at Super Slam Wisconsin and earn a place on the 2026 Storm All-American Team, and in September 2026 he won SYC Nevada. Each of those results traces back to a weekend in East Providence that set the baseline he has been climbing past since.
