Match Play

Strikers 3.0 opened with a 2-0 sweep of Krista and the IDWTBH, then edged CT State Beasts 2-1 to reach the winners-side semifinal. There they dropped a 2-1 decision to C.A.R.E. Bears and moved to the losers bracket.

From the elimination side they swept their next match 2-0 to advance to the championship round against C.A.R.E. Bears. Needing to beat the undefeated team twice, Strikers 3.0 took the first match 2-0 and closed out the "if necessary" match 2-0 to win the title.

Worth noting from a development standpoint: the team's response after the semifinal loss was clean. Three consecutive 2-0 results to close the bracket, including back-to-back sweeps of a team that had just beaten them.
